Robin Kevles-Necowitz founded Parent Assist in 2005. As a Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in Parenting issues with her clients for over 15 years, Robin wanted to reach out to the larger community on issues related to parenting. She realizes the hole that exists in our society as it relates to parenting education, and as a parent of 2 young daughters, Robin appreciates the enormity of the parenting challenge.

As a therapist, Robin was limited to teach parenting skills within the context of psychotherapy. However, she also wanted to coach parents who don’t need or want psychotherapy -- parents who had specific parenting concerns and who wanted clear, direct answers. These parents needed a parenting coach to help find solutions, without long-term therapy. Parent Assist was born out of that need.

Robin Kevles-Necowitz has coached hundreds of families over the years. She is a published author in many periodicals on parenting issues, including the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Bucks County Courier Times. Robin holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and is a Certified Parenting Instructor through STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). She speaks at various schools and agencies on common parenting concerns including discipline, sleep issues and the need for extreme parental self-care that results in happy families.
